After
graduation I went in the Marine
Corps. I was in from 88 to 92
and achieved the rank of Corporal.
My job was NBC Def, or Nuclear,
Biological, and Chemical Defense
Spec. Went to Operation Desert
Shield/Storm with 4th MEB.
After the Marines I came back
to Franklin, started school
at SCC and began working full
time at LBJ Job Corps as a residential
advisor.
I met my wife, Wendi Jill Young,
at SCC and we married in 1995.
FINALLY in 2001 I graduated
from WCU with a Graphic Design
degree. My first child, Audra,
was born 2 weeks before I graduated
that May.
Since December of 2001 I have
worked for Dnet Internet Services
in Franklin, NC as their Art
Director designing websites
and the marketing materials
for Dnet.
I am a member of Holly Springs
Baptist Church in Franklin,
a member of the Marine Corps
League of Franklin, help run
the Toys for Tots program for
5 counties in WNC and N. GA
and other activities in the
