Missing someone? As we all got closer and closer to the graduation we made promises to friends. Friends we said we would never forget or lose track of. Well life doesn’t always allow for all promises to be kept so easily, until now.

The idea of creating the Great 88 website for the Franklin High School class of 1988 began following our 15th reunion in 2003. Guy Gooder, and I talked about how to best get the word out when it came to planning our 20th. Being more efficient when it came time for someone to plan the next reunion was important. We thought we might get an even better turnout if people knew when, where, how and why as that time drew closer. Well from there I have thought about it more (procrastinated fits better) and finally decided that there should be a destination to get everyone connected. But that place could be about more than just the reunion.

So here we are at Great 88. The core of this site is to build a community amongst ourselves. A home to brag on yourself and your family by providing information on what you have been up to since we left FHS. This site will give you a calendar for events in Franklin, or elsewhere that may be important to our class, and to birthdays of our classmates so maybe you can send them cards. I also wanted to give you a forum so you can catch up, talk about the Panthers, get some advice from old friends, or just give an opinion about current events and happenings in the world and Franklin.

Basically, I would like to see this become your place to reconnect with your classmates, your old friends. Your place to keep those promises you made so long ago. So please check out the opportunities here and consider this an invitation to send me information about your family to post. It doesn’t cost a thing but your time.

To have your Locker Information posted you must have atleast been at FHS sometime during our senior year in 1987-88. If you do not want to keep up the information, but your spouse will, that is great also. They can just let me know who they are. We just want to know what everyone has been up to.
